I’ll be referring ot a lot of my relatives, so here’s a guide. Haha, it’s like the beginning of 100 Years of Solitude.

Also, remember that in the Pi, pretty much everybody has a nickname. For a lot of my relatives I don’t even know their real names. Also, we have amrkers of respect. Kuya/Manong means an older brother or cousin. Ate (rponounced ah-teh, not eight)/Manang means older girl cousin or sister, Here, cousins are regarded much like brothers and sisters, because extended family is so important, thus the shared titles. My cousins sons and daughters call me auntie. Tita/Tito means Auntie/Uncle.

Um, ok, so this is basically me mother’s side of the family in order from oldest to youngest.

Uncle Toto – died before I was born. I forgot the wife and kids names

Uncle Nene (real name Crispin Pe)
Auntie Siony (Asuncion) – his wife
Ate Ikke (Eleanor) – their daughter
Ate Shirley – their daughter
Kuya Edgar – their son
Ate Aileen – their daughter, but she’s not here because she’s working in Saudi Arabia right now

Uncle Nonoy (Leoncio pacete)
Auntie Remy (Remiliana) – his wife
Kuya Ray – their son
Ate Joy – his wife
Kim, 17, Julia, 7 – their kids
Kuya Boy – their son
Ate Leni – their daughter. She lives with my aunts in Jersey
Ate Emily – their daughter
katrina and Gian – her kids (I’m their aunt but they’re older than me)

Nanay (Brenda Planas, alternate nickname Inday) – nanay means mom but all us cousins call her Nanay. She lives in Jersey and she’s the one I stay with
Tatay (Roberto Planas, nickname Obet) – Tatay means dad – her husband
Bobbits (Roberto planas Jr) – their son (also lives in jersey)
Mare (Marianna) – his wife
Damain and Sebastian – their kids 5 and 3
Elizabeth, margaret, Laslow (Mare’s sister, mom and dad)

My mom – (Virginia, nickname Esot)
my dad (Lamberto, nickname Berto haha not original)
My sister’s sophia, nickname Dingdang

Auntie Paking (Mehelende (helen) Capp) – they live in jersey, a couple blocks from Nanay
Brain Capp (Anok) – her husband
Heather (bing bing) and Jennifer (jing jing) – their kids, the ones that used to live with me

Auntie Nene (Nancy Pe) – lives with nanay. she was here in the PI last December/January
Auntie Nening (Betty Andico) – her partner
Ting Tong and Ivee – Nening’s nephew and wife

Uncle Ontoy (Ernesto Pacete) – he’s a sailor and left for London right before I got here. He’llbe back in a month. I forgot the names of his kids and second wife.
